Standard Terms & Conditions of Sale

The client is a person or organization (private or public company) using the professional translation services from TC Translators.

2.1 - As long as TC Translators have not had the opportunity to evaluate completely the nature of the document that it is desired to translate, any quotation facilitated, as well as the fees and/or the date of delivery, will not be binding and could at any time be modified.
2.2 - The contract will be considered executed, when the Clients accept the quotation given by TC Translators and send the purchase order back to TC Translators fulfilled and signed (by fax, postal mail or e-mail).
2.3 - TC Translators do not accept informal orders. The client should completely fulfill the purchase order to be considered a formal order. You can fill our Order Form to confirm your request.

3.1 -TC Translators will respect the delivery time except in the cases that escape to our control. Circumstances such as fire, inclement or exceptional weather conditions, industrial action or any other cause whatever beyond our control or of an unexpected or exceptional nature could change the delivery timeframe, TC Translators will not be responsible.
3.2 - The delivery will be considered done at the moment that TC Translators send the translation to the client by e-mail, postal mail, fax or messenger.

4.1 - In case the client makes changes or additions in a purchasing order once the contract is formalized, then TC Translators reserves the right to modify the delivery timeframe and/or the price based on the changes, or to reject them.
4.2 - Any modification that takes place in the purchasing order once the contract is formalized will provide effect solely after the acceptance and confirmation of TC Translators in writing.
4.3 - In case of a Contract Cancellation, the client will be responsible for the complete payment of the decided purchase price (No additional compensation may be claimed). TC Translators will give to the client all the works that have been finalized until that moment.

5.1 - TC Translators guarantee their clients, that all the translations will be undertaken with the greatest possible care in compliance with the standards in force in the translation profession.
5.2 - In order to accomplish with the quality level wished in the translations TC Translators should receive from the client the necessary information about the text that is desired to translate, including specific terminology.
5.3 - TC Translators are committed to maintain the information provided by the client strictly confidential.

6.1 - Prices will be based on the number of words to be translated multiplied by the standard rate per word. The standard rates applicable are in the Our Rates section
6.2 - Rates are in EURO currency and do not include VAT.
6.3 - The invoice must be paid at the translation delivery through PayPal, Bank Transfer or Cash. If the budget is more than 300 €, a 40% of the corresponding amount must be paid at the time of the acceptance.

7.1 - The client will have to formulate his claims in writing, detailing the reasons to TC Translators maximum within the ten working days following to the date of delivery. Under no circumstance it will exempt the client from his payment obligation.
7.2 - In case of claim or dispute, TC Translators will present formally their opinion, which will be based partly on the expert opinion of the translator.
7.3 - In cases TC Translators considered the claim founded, total or partially, TC Translators are committed to do the entire to repair the situation.

8.1 - A client will only have right to make a complaint to TC Translators for those losses or damages which could be demonstrated that are direct result of an attributable mistake from TC Translators service.
8.2 - The responsibility of TC Translators is limited to the exact purchase price allocated in the signed Contract, VAT excluded.

9.1 - All Intellectual Property Rights (including but not limited to copyright) in the Original Works and TC Translators shall vest in you but, for the avoidance of doubt, you hereby grant to us a license to store and use the Original Works for the duration of the Contract and for the purposes of providing the Services to you.

10.1 - In all the relations between TC Translators and the client will be of application the Spanish Right.
